All classes in our Yoga & Wellness program at Essentials Natural Family Health are appropriate for beginners. If you are new to yoga, or if you are recovering from an injury or illness, please let your instructor know so they may assist you for a safe, effective yoga experience.
Hatha – Sequences of physical postures/poses we hold for 10+ seconds focused on alignment and breath to improve concentration, strength, and stamina.
Gentle – Modified and easy yoga postures hold for 10+ seconds focused on alignment and fluid breath to gently improve range of motion & flexibility. This is a great place to start if you are taking care of an injury or coming back after absence or injury.
SunRise Flow – Slow, steady movement following our breath with increasing, fluid pace to gently wake and invigorate your body. A great way to start your day!
Levels 1 & 2
Slow Flow - Our focused breathing and intentional flowing movement creates a dynamic energy within the body resulting in peace and vitality.
Vinyasa – An invigorating flow of yoga asana (postures) flowing with the breath, and with purpose. Build strength, stamina, focus, and peace of mind.
Levels 1 & 2
Hot Yoga (26+2) – The original 90-minute hot yoga sequence of Bikram’s (beginning) yoga class in a milder, 85-90 degree environment. Work at your own pace at this proven, hatha yoga system for total body, mind, and spiritual health.
All Levels – great for beginners!
30 Minute Yoga Nidra (Guided Meditation) – Noon hour class to relieve stress and anxiety. Take a break! This class is a 30 minute guided meditation & relaxation session where all you do is relax, breath, and listen.
Ghosh Yoga – An introduction to Bishnu Ghosh hatha yoga therapy for total mind, body, & spiritual health. Exploration of the science and art of hatha yoga practice for self health care.
Pre-Natal – Appropriate slow postures, breath, and mindfulness for this special time in your life. Join our 6-week series offered 2-4 times per year. 2nd Trimester and beyond
